David "Dai" Rees is a Welsh former rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s and '30s, and coach of the 1930s…'60s who at club level has played rugby union (RU) for Abertillery RFC, and at representative level has played rugby league (RL) for Great Britain, Wales, Other Nations, and Glamorgan & Monmouthshire, and at club level for Halifax, playing at Second-row, i.e. number 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums, and at club level has coached for Bradford Northern.[1]
